How do I reserve the home?
After confirmation that you would like to rent the property, you will receive an email from Right Signature with an online reservation. You will receive detailed instructions on signing. After I receive the signed reservation you will receive your confirmation, directions, code to the door and check in information.
Is there a damage deposit?
The damage deposit is ran as an authorization only on your credit card the day of check in. It will never be charged unless there is damage or loss to the home.
Are the pictures of your homes accurate representations of what we will be renting?
Yes, the home pictures are re-taken regularly. We take the pictures ourselves. Importantly, we constantly maintain and repaint our houses, making improvements during the quiet months. This way there are no surprises when you walk in the door of your home . We do change the soft furnishings (cushions, throws, etc) on a regular basis to replace with clean ones, but we try to maintain the overall look and feel in the home.
What is check in/out time?
The home will be ready for occupancy at promptly 4:00 pm. Checkout is at 10:30 am
Do you accept pets?
We only accept pets in the Honeybee.
Well behaved pets only. If pet(s) is/are in party, current rabies inoculation, heart-worm & flea/tick medication is necessary, as well as properly trimmed nails. This is for the protection of your pet(s) and your security deposit. Pets MUST be 100% potty trained. All pets must be approved in advance. There is an additional $100.00 fee for rentals 7 nights or less and $150 for any rentals over 7 nights but under 21 nights.
Are there sheets, towels, etc?
All beds are made for your arrival with clean sheets and linens. We only use upscale high thread count linens along with name brand duvets and down comforters. You will receive a supply of big fluffy towels and wash cloths for each registered guest. You will also be supplied with kitchen towels & dishcloths.
Is there parking?
The Parisian has on-site private parking. The Honeybee has a private parking space and a 1 car garage on property. There is also abundant street parking.
What is the neighborhood like?
The neighborhood is in a diverse and historic part of our city. It is not a suburban cookie cutter neighborhood but a vibrant, eclectic part of town close to the city's main attractions! Houses are located within one block of each so it would be perfect if you needed more space.
What is Lincoln Center?
Our neighborhood is undergoing urban renewal. An old school has been converted to a multi use space that features a brewery, bbq restaurant, bakery, coffee shop, barber shop and numerous other businesses. Lincoln Center is in close walking distance to the houses. Check it out if you have time!
How do I gain access into the property?
All locks on exterior doors are digital. You will be given a private personalized pass-code when payment is complete, along with instructions on operating the locks.
How do I pay for the rental?
If you are more than 30 days from the rental period, 1/2 is due at booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to check in. If the rental dates are within 30 days, the total is due at booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and PAYPAL. We will also accept checks if the rental is 30 days or more away.
What is the cancellation policy?
We know that accidents can happen and problems sometime arise, which is why we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance for your trip. Our cancellations policy in our terms and conditions is:
A ninety (90) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty except if deposits were made via credit card which would be $100.
Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30-90 days of the arrival date, forfeit 50% of the rental and deposit.
No refunds within 30 days.
Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately.
Are there knives, pots & pans, etc. in the kitchen?
Kitchens are fully stocked with everything you would need. Dishes, knives, pots & pans, blender, crock pot, Cuisinart Coffee maker, cutting board, juicer, mixer, cork screw, wine glasses, spices & herbs, basic pantry items, condiments and much more!
Is there toilet paper, napkins, etc?
You will be supplied with a sufficient supply of toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, napkins and trash bags based the number of registered occupants. Based on individual usage, there is no guarantee that the supply of any these items will be enough to last to the end of the rental period and you would be responsible for purchasing more.
Where is the home located?
Our beautiful homes are located in the eclectic, historic Old North End/Downtown area. They are minutes from Colorado College, downtown, Penrose Hospital, UCCS and Garden of the Gods.
Access to Interstate-25 only a few blocks away. Less than 5 minutes away from the Central Business District offering quaint cafes, fine dining, art museums, spacious parks, and charming boutiques. 3 miles from the south gate of the Air Force Academy.
Within 10 minutes of the 5-Star Broadmoor resort and Colorado Springs’ own event center, The World Arena. Minutes from Old Colorado City, Colorado College (on the same street), Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, the Olympic Training Center, and the Fine Arts Center. UCCS is a short 5 -7 minute drive away. Safeway and Walgreens within a few blocks.
Can I host an event/reception on the property?
These are private homes, not venues, therefore; there are no large parties, events or receptions allowed on property.
Can I smoke in the property?
There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind inside the properties. Doing so will forfeit your entire damage deposit and possibly incur additional cost for clean up. You may smoke cigarettes or cigars outside only and you are expected to clean up any butts, etc. There is absolutely NO marijuana smoking within property lines inside or out. There is no vaping allowed inside.
